ROUGH PLAN!

Assalamualaikum,

The plan for this Easter holiday is to PARIS!

I've been there last year and I don't mind going again. The plan is leaving Newcastle on the 7th. April, 2008 and coming back on the 10th. So anyone???

At the moment, research shows:

Fly from Newcastle to Charles De Gaulle + Accomodation: 180pounds or less.

From last year, if I am not mistaken, a 4 days transportation is around 35 to 40 euros :)

Don't forget to budget!!!

Ambuyat at 24 Brighton, Newcastle.

Assalamualaikum

I couldn't wait for Mimah to post about ambuyat so i'm doing this myself. Hehe. Berehat sekajap dari buat revision. The day before yesterday I decided to have ambuyat. Bangun dari tidur, tersliurkn ambuyat, so i called Bob and said to him I want to eat ambuyat for dinner with them while Mirah, Mun, Zaim and Fatin were still in Newcastle and since we still have 2 packets of ambulung. Thinking everyone is comfortable with 24 Brighton and the house feels very homy, i asked Bob if it was okay with him and the rest to have dinner at their place. Since he said okay, so the dinner was held there. Thanks to Bob and housemates!

Mimah & Jajah apa lagi? Kamilah yang paling semangat beli dan sediakan barang untuk makan. Pukul satu lalu jalan beli barang, dalam pukul 3 kami mula membuati dan masak. Ngam pukul 7 semuanya hampir siap, tinggal menumpahi aing ke ambuyat lagi. Hehe.

Kami punya ambuyat masa mula2 kami buat di sini hari tu kurang memuaskan sebab licak sikit. Tapi yang malam atu, tumpahan kami berjaya! Kami menumpah dua kali, dua2 jua sukses. Mimah tuang air, Jajah menguar. Syukur..Sampai hajat semua org.




Tapi yang paling penting kalau makan ambuyat - Cacah! Sebab cacahth yg membari rasa. Ada 3 jenis cacah; Cacah dari Brunei campur dengan tempoyak!! 2 cacah kami buat sendiri macam yang mula2. Tapi kami buat 2 jenis. Satu padas satu lagi kurang padas. Bila campur cacah ani semua dengan kuah ikan & udang: BESSSTTTT! Haha.


Yang paling spesil malam atu apanah? BELUTAK yang dibawa oleh Boy, abang bob, dari Brunei. Nyamaan! Terima kasih byk2 =D


Lauk-pauk lain: ikan asam pedas Jajah, daging masak kicap Bob dari Brunei, ayam kari Mimah, udang galah masak cili Bob dari Brunei, lady's finger Jajah, lalap Bob dari Brunei, mangga & sambal belacan campur kicap Bee-Aye.

Kami liat wayang sambil makan cadbury crunchie cheesecake made by Jajah. Durang suka sampai mau belajar cemana buat. Hehe. I like the feelings when people are happy because of the food we made. Happy olehnya jua. Im not saying the food we made are nice, it's the happiness when they eat the food that makes us happy as well. Kira macam menyampaikan hajatlah. Syukur Alhamdulillah. =D

Ayam Penyet 72 Dilston Rd, Ncl

Sejak ada magic box, maju kami dua di Newcastle ani. Hari tu sebelum ke Barcelona makan ambuyat, dimalam pun makan ambuyat jua, tapi kami adakan di 24 Brighton. Mimah nanti post pasal ambuyat kami kali kedua di sini, Insya Allah. This post is about Ayam Penyet. Sebenarnya, sebelum ke Barcelona sudah kami terseliur makan ayam penyet, lapas bagitau bapa kami mengayuh, ya sabut ayam penyet, tapi pasal masa tu kami sibuk dengan kerja Uni jadinya kami tangguhlah sampaitah ke hari ani. Mimah goreng ayam dan Jajah masak sambal. Mimah tukang rasa and modified macam biasa. Ayam penyet kami macam ayam penyet di Brunei. Dari bau sampai ke rasanya. Puaslah hati kami. Nya Nawi "Inda berakal nyamannya" Hehe. It was our first attempt of cooking ayam penyet and it was a success! =D

Happy new year 2009!

Assalamualaikum.

First of all, we would like to wish a very happy new year to all readers esp our family and friends. May this year be the year for all of us. This new year both of us are in Newcastle. We had bbq and countdown at 24 Brighton. Thanks for hosting guys. Mimah made satay and I made jelly and fruit cocktail. Just like what Aunty Malin made for us every new year. Mimah macam biasa yang paling tahan menyalai. We had sing along together as well and of course big smile for the cameras although it was freaking cold.

Mas and the brother, Halim, were here for the new year. Also, Boy, Bob's big brother. There were 3 pairs of siblings including us so we took pictures together.

Barcelona

Assalamualaikum,

It is 2009!! December 08' was jajah's first vacation in UK. Holiday can never be the same without Amadah, Bapa and Babu. However, we did enjoy our vacation to Barcelona, Spain. Thanks to all your taughts, advises and prayers.

Alhamdulillah, we are all safe back in UK to study and prepare for our EXAMS this month. Hopefully, everyone will do well. Anyway, I will summarise our 4 nights schedule in Barcelona. I planned the places to visit the night before we fly. (22nd. December, 2008) Membali jua buku Top 10 places in Barcelona.

DAY1:
- Arrive at Barcelona Airport.
- The Bird's-eye view was amazing.
- SORTIDA? SALIDA?'=the words I saw with 'EXIT'.
- Exchanged vouchers to Barcelona Card.
- Taxi! Driver's seat on the left and they do not speak english. I pretended to understand. Showed him our accomodation address + map!!

On our way to the apartment, which was around 20 mins. The taxi driver did tour guiding for us. "PARC, COLON, LA RAMBLA, PORT VELL, BARCELONETA" paham jua lah sikit2 :P

- While waiting for Zarina at 28 Ginebra, semua orang kabak-kabak kaliaah..wondering whats the condition of the apartment. Larap bah usulnya diluar ah. Mimah pun ijap. Tesubuk-subuk jendela ah. Mana pantainya? Skali sudah masuk nah! It was awesome!! Entrace to a dining room + kitchen + Tv! then.. Downstairs, the basement....

After everyone settled! BAH JALAN!! CARI SEAFOOD! but then we end up going to BARCELONETA BEACH! then jalan-jalan around Port Olympic..

Perut lapar, cari makan! TARGET SEAFOOD! El Rebujito at Port Olympic was our first restaurant in Barcelona. Had Paellas (Paeyas), Mussels and seafood set. Price..We shared among 10, so it was worth it

Lapas makan, some had ice-cream then walk again to the 'Arch d Triomph' *spelling*. We did not want to waste our time in Barcelona.

Balik! some rest but Nawi, Zaim, Jajah and I jalan - jalan lagi around Barceloneta.


Day 2
- Outside the house by 10am. Walked to L'Aquarium!!!!!

Quote by them "If you haven't been here, You haven't been to Barcelona"

Next! had lunch at some shopping place nearby then crossed the bridge at Port Vell to 'Drassanes' the metro stop located at La Rambla. Took the metro to 'Parallel' then get on to the funicular (macam train tapi this one goes uphill) to 'MONJUIC PARC!'. Naik lagi cable car to the Castle!! KONONYA.. castle c Zaim and Jajah! Very nice view!!!

Enjoying the sights we then, ride the cable car back down to walk around the Park! Art gallery, Gardens and stadiums - NOT CAMP NOU-.

Malamnya..Dinner at Barceloneta... Tried Paellas Noodle and the Negro Paellas then went to La Rambla to walk around and requested a spray painting. We knew there were lots of Bruneians in Barcelona at that time but did not expect to bump into them that night. Apparently, its Mira currently studying in Belfast! Jajah's tution fren and Vovvy's cousin.

Day 3:

- Jalan at 11am for Camp Nou = Barcelona FC stadium.

After Camp Nou we split up. Keri, Azam, Zul and Rina went together and the rest of us in another group.

Sagrada Familia


Here, at Sagrada Familia be extra careful with the children that ask for donations and signatures. While you're busy signing their sheets they will sneak their hands into your bags or pockets for more money!

Then, we're off to Parc Guell..

The uphill journey from 'Valcarca' metro stop for Parc Guell. Luckily escalotors provided and they work!

Christmas Day 5 (everything tutup)

The plan was to get on Golondrinas cruise then elevate at the Mirador de Colom, visit Picasso Museum and Tibidabo Amusement Park.

In front of Picasso Museum. Jaume 1 metro stop. Lucky ada CROISSANT NYAAAMAAAN and we get to see a performance depan the Cathedral.

Naik ke Tibidabo!


The plan was to naik that 'Torre De Collserola' tapi tutup.. Urang atu cakap "Come tommorow!" apa tommorow ah..

Information from the internet says the Magic fountain will be playing on Thursday! However, I think Christmas jua punya pasal its OFF :(:( anyway while waiting for 7pm we had dinner at La Rambla, Rajah, an Indian Restaurant.

We enjoyed the night lights of Barcelona from MNAC.

Makan Waffle then Haagen-Dazs *spelling* ice cream..lapas atu PAELLAS lagi for the last time!!
