Ambuyat in Newcastle

Assalamualaikum,

First of all, I would like to thank Bapa, Babu and Amadah for treating us with the 'Magic Box' from BRUNEI!!!!

The Magic Box

Dalamnya ada MACAM-MACAM! Inda buleh bagitau. ;P Tapi yg penting ada..

AMBULUNG!!!

The box has made our week to be one of the best weeks here!

On Friday, 12th. December, 2008. We decided to enjoy AMBUYAT!!!

The preparation

It was Jajah's first attempt 'menumpah ambuyat' AND it was ofcourseeee!! A SUCCESS!! Turun skill dari Ayahanda eyh.. :D

Our Main Course for that night

Cacahnya experiment (buat ala2 UK) sendiri. Blended together - Lada hidup, Mangga, Limau nipis, Gula, Garam - Sebenarnya buleh lah.. 7/10.. ganya bitter because we did'nt have limau kasturi so we masukkan limau nipis.. jadi pahit lah kulitnya terasa..tapi nyaman lah! Ada Udang Rebus Jua!!

My small plate (Ikan Goreng, Sayur Kacang masak belacan and Daging tumis) My second plate was LARGER with RICE.

Nawi's plate (Pinggan orang inda makan ambuyat)

Azam, Sharon, Nadz and Nawi joined for dinner.

Sharon eating ambuyat. Nya urg Brunei "Inda masuk liur nya".

Thanks again to Bapa, Babu and Amadah!

love,
Mimah
